HASSANAT

Hasnat wrote in his Facebook post, 'As a revolutionary government, one of the main responsibilities of the current government was to bring to justice all those involved in the genocide. But retaining Awami allies in the police and administration or allowing them to leave the country safely is indicative of the government's failure.'

He wrote, 'The safe departure of former DB chief Harun and police officer Monirul is proof of the presence of Awami ghosts at various levels of the current government's administration. They indulged in revolutionary spirit and conspiracy to disrupt the revolution. Retaining Awami ghosts in the administration amounts to cheating the people. In fact, officials at various levels of the administration are trying to ensure personal interests while forgetting the larger interests of the country, which is contrary to the spirit of the revolution.'

He also wrote, 'We call upon the officials at all levels of the administration, to embrace the spirit of revolution and serve the greater interest of the country. Do not jeopardize the future of the country for petty personal interests. We also call on the revolutionary government to bring to justice those who were complicit in the murders committed in the last 15 years and in the July revolution. Those who have fled the country, should be brought back to the country and justice should be ensured.

The souls of Abu Saeed, Wasim and Mocha will rest in peace only when the criminals are fully punished and the government acts in the spirit of revolution.'
