Jumbangla Desk: The biggest cricket franchise tournament of the country is Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The 11th edition of the tournament will be held on December 27. Before this, the BPL players draft will be held on October 14. The franchises will start the fight from the players draft before entering the field.

Team captains or iconic cricketers are present alongside the franchise owners to create a draft battle. For example, star cricketers like Tamim Iqbal, Nazmul Hasan Shanto and Mehdi Hasan Miraj were directly present in the last BPL draft.

But the BPL management is going to see a bigger surprise in the upcoming BPL players draft. Dhaka franchise owner and actor Shakib Khan will be directly present at this year's draft. Mamnoon Hasan Emon, another popular actor of the country, will be with him.

A reliable source in the party confirmed this information to RTV on Thursday (October 10).

Shakib Khan's organization Remark Harlan has bought the ownership of the franchise in Dhaka this year. They have already announced the name of the team. The team will participate in this year's BPL under the name of Dhaka Capitals.

Dhaka Capitals have already started showing surprise in front of their first season. The cutting master Mostafizur Rahman has been added to the team in a direct contract.

Apart from this, they have joined the team as foreign cricketers, former England opener Alex Hales and Caribbean star cricketer Johnson Charles.

On the other hand, a former Australian cricketer is going to come as the team's mentor. The team is in talks with Mike Hussey, David Hussey and Michael Clarke. The franchise has not yet announced any final decision regarding them.
