Jumbangla Desk: 5 people were killed by lightning in different districts of the country. Some were injured. Two people were killed by lightning in Natore and Naogaon on Friday (October 11) morning. The deceased are Abdul Momin of Naldanga upazila and Raihan Ali of Atrai upazila of Naogaon district.

According to the police, some people went to Haltibil by boat to bring snails. At that time Momin died instantly due to lightning. The rest were injured. At the same time, a young man named Raihan Ali was killed by lightning while fishing in Mara Atrai river near Haltabil.

In the evening, a person was killed by lightning while fishing in the Chilai Bill of Gazipur. Another person died due to lightning at Barhatta in Netrakona. Besides, it is reported that one person was killed in Habiganj by lightning.
