100 rockets fired at Israel in just one hour

In its latest update on Friday, the Israeli military said 80 rockets had been fired in the first phase from Lebanon. Some of whom have been prevented. However, several rockets have been detected on the ground. That means some rockets bypassed Israel's air defenses and hit the country.

Apart from this, 20 more rockets were fired in the second phase, the Israeli army said. They claim to resist some of them.

 


Al Jazeera could not say whether there were any casualties in Israel in the latest rocket fired by Hezbollah.

Hezbollah made another statement after the Israeli army made a statement saying that 100 rockets had been fired from Lebanon. In their official Telegram channel, Hezbollah said that they have launched several rocket and missile attacks in the past hour.

The pro-Iranian group said in a statement that the rocket attack targeted the gathering of enemy country soldiers in the Israeli cities of Kiryat Shmona and Kfar Yuval. Apart from this, a large-scale missile attack has also been carried out in Safed city. Moreover, Hezbollah has also claimed to attack soldiers near Israeli army barracks in the occupied Golan Heights.
