This boat found in Khufu's pyramid is the world's oldest 'solar boat' or 'solar boat'. And there is an amazing mystery associated with this boat. Ancient Egyptians believed that humans have a separate life after death. After the judgment after death, people find shelter in the afterlife world with the sun god 'Ra'. To convey Khufu to the Sun God, this special boat was also buried with his body. That is why this ship is known as 'solar boat'.

Archaeologists have found traces of this type of boat not only in Khufu, but in the tombs of several Egyptian pharaohs. So what is the specialty of this boat? And why is it a mystery?

In fact, the boat that was found in the secret chamber beneath the Great Pyramid of Giza is not entirely beneath the pyramid. Rather, it is located on one side of the pyramid. This room is connected through a narrow tunnel through Khufu's pyramid.

The mysterious Pharaoh Kufu's solar boat

According to a group of researchers, a completely different pyramid stood on this room several thousand years ago. which has decayed with time or was destroyed by Khufu himself.

It does not end here. Usually, the 'solar boats ' that were buried in pharaoh's tombs were specially made after the pharaoh's death. That is, they were imprisoned in the pyramids in almost new condition. However, in the case of Khufu, the matter is a little different. Researchers have found clear evidence that this boat was used ritually before burial. Made of Lebanese cedar wood, this boat has water marks. That impression is also multi-layered.

Also the structure of this boat is quite amazing. The boat is heavier on one side. There are also multiple scratches on the deck. The question arises, why was such a boat of unequal weight made for Khufu? How was this uneven boat used? And what are the spots on the deck?

According to some researchers, Khufu's body was brought to the pyramid by making this boat. Many people believe that this boat was used to bring stones to build this pyramid. That's why the water stains. Even to balance the weight of the stones, the craftsmen kept the boat heavier on one side.

However, the researchers could not provide any reasonable evidence behind any theory. The search for this mystery is still going on today. The 4500-year-old solar boat was moved from the side of the pyramids to Egypt's new museum, The Grand Museum, last year.
