Zoom-Bangla Desk: ' Silent Hill 2 ' is a milestone in the psychological horror genre . Almost two decades after its first release, the game has been modernized and remade by developer Blueberry Team SA. The publisher is Konami as usual. This is also the first time that the game is officially coming to PC.

The game revolves around trauma, torture and its far-reaching effects, but one thing that keeps coming up is, is it all real, or is it the imagination of protagonist James Sutherland? Although the game is a sequel to the first Silent Hill, it has no direct connection to the story. Three years after the death of James' wife Mary, a letter written by her suddenly appears. It was sent from a small town called Silent Hill. James appears in Silent Hill town to unravel the mystery of how the letter arrived three years after his death.

He quickly realizes that Silent Hill is no ordinary place, it has some kind of supernatural power. Silent Hill is able to turn the worries, fears and apprehensions deep in the minds of everyone who comes to the town into real monster form. The pain and guilt deep in James' mind turned into a pyramidhead monster. Over the course of the game, James is introduced to several other characters, all of whom have come to Silent Hill to escape tragic events in their lives.

The game has a total of six endings, publisher Konami has never revealed which one is the original. Silent Hill 2 has always been famous for its amazing atmosphere. At every step in the foggy city, there is the threat of encountering terrible monsters. Although the game is a third person shooter genre, collecting ammunition for the hand weapon will be a big challenge. Not all monsters can be defeated by James.

The gameplay is not action genre, but rather puzzle based. Much of the gameplay revolves around finding keys or solving puzzles needed to open locked doors. Although the remake has modernized graphics, the foggy atmosphere of the original game is intact. Monsters have been made nastier, the game doesn't have as many bugs. But the fun of the game is not available without a very powerful PC.
