According to local sources, Mizanur Rahman Ratan, joint convener of upazila BNP and president of Sidhuli Union BNP, filed a sabotage case at Motherganj Model Police Station as the plaintiff on September 2. In that case, Mahbub Alam Miron, Chairman of Sidhuli Union Parishad of Motherganj Upazila and President of Union Awami League, was named as the main accused and 53 people were named and 30 to 40 unknown accused. So far, the police have arrested one accused and 14 other unidentified accused in this case. The arrested persons are in Jamalpur Jail.

Aceland Sayeda Khanam Liza, Motherganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shahinur Alam, Upazila Information Officer Deepa Khatun, Social Service Officer Toufiqul Islam Khalek, Upazila LGED Engineer Golam Kibria Tamal, Upazila Rural Development Officer Rahul Amin are seen in the picture.

In one picture, the officer in charge of Motherganj police station is seen sitting next to Shahinur Alam and in some pictures, the main accused in the sabotage case, Sidhuli Union Parishad chairman and union Awami League president Mahbub Alam Miron, is seen standing next to UNO and other officials.

Some leaders of the local Awami League said that 14 people who are not named in the statement of this case have been arrested and sent to prison. So they are running away in fear of arrest. But the officials of the administration are walking around with the main accused.

Joint convenor of upazila BNP and president of Sidhuli Union BNP Mizanur Rahman Ratan said that UNO already knew about the case. He knows the chairman well. Still he visited various pujamandaps in his car. He demanded quick arrest of the accused in the case.

Sidhuli Union Parishad Chairman and Union Awami League President Mahbub Alam Miron said that he is aware of the case against him. But there is no problem in his movement.

Shahenur Alam, officer-in-charge of Motherganj Model Police Station, said that he has just joined the police station. Don't know everyone well. However, after the puja, a special operation will be conducted and the accused will be arrested, he said.

In this regard, Motherganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Faizul Wasima Nahat said that Sidhuli Union Parishad Chairman and Union Awami League President Mahbub Alam Miron was the accused in the case. Besides, the OC of the police station was with him.

Meanwhile, Jamalpur Deputy Commissioner Hasina Begum told reporters that she has come to know about the matter. The ADC General has been asked to inquire about this. Discuss and decide what to do.
