Jumbangla Desk: Two children died after falling into the water while playing on the bank of the pond. The accident took place in Aligaon village of Omarpur union on Saturday afternoon. After the recovery of the bodies, the family members of the two children burst into tears.

Among the dead children is Aryan (5) son of Suman Mia of that village. The name of the other is Jobaid (4). His father Yusuf Ali is an autorickshaw driver by profession. Two families live side by side in the house.

Their neighbor Parvez Talukder said that there is a pond next to the two houses. Arian and Jobaid were playing on that bank on Saturday afternoon. At one point, Arju Begum's mother came to look for Aryan. While looking around without seeing his son, he saw the two children floating in the pond. Neighbors rushed to his screams and rescued them. When taken to Charfasan Upazila Health Complex, doctors declared them dead.

Arju Begum, Arju Begum, Aryan's mother, is seen sitting beside their dead bodies on the surface. He was saying, 'Allah has taken the treasure of my chest. You tore my liver and give me back the money.'

On the other hand, mother Fatema Begum was seen lying unconscious next to the dead body of her son Jobaid. When he regained consciousness after a while, he was holding the dead child in his arms and looking at him. The cries of other relatives reached the rest of the village.

Suraiya Yasmin, doctor of Charfasan Upazila Health Complex, said that two children died before being brought to the hospital. Initially, it was seen that there was a lot of water in their stomachs.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Charphaysan Police Station Mizanur Rahman Howladar said that the children's families have no complaints. So he allowed the body to be buried.
