He said this during an exchange of views after visiting Dhakeshwari temple in the capital on Saturday (October 12) afternoon.

The chief adviser said, we don't want a society where the army, police have to celebrate the festival. This government wants to build a Bangladesh where all communities and citizens have equal rights.

He also said that everyone should work together so that the festival can be held without law and order forces in future.

Dr. Yunus said, this time the joy of Durga Puja has become a special joy, which is being enjoyed by everyone across the country. Everyone has tried to avoid any accidents and panic situations. For this reason everyone has tried sincerely in the government and outside the government.

He said that the interim government wants to build a country that the whole world can be proud of.


Earlier, Dr. Dhakeshwari went to the Pujamandap to exchange greetings and visit the puja ceremony on the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja with the Hindu community at 3 pm. Yunus.

At this time Dr. Yunus was welcomed with flowers. He then visited the pujamandap and inquired about the puja by talking to the priest. Later he participated in an exchange meeting with the Hindu community.
