Entertainment Desk: Dhallywood megastar Shakib Khan is busy with acting and also has a production company. He also made a movie from it. Shakib even took a grant from the government to make the movie.

In fiscal year 2021-22, Shakib Khan received a grant of Tk 65 lakh from the Awami government as a producer for the movie named 'Maya'. The movie is to be directed by Himel Ashraf. The actor has not started shooting for the movie even though he has collected the check for the first installment of the grant from the government.

According to the rules, the film is to be produced and submitted to the Information Ministry within nine months of receiving the grant cheque. In case of delay in the production of the film, the time can be extended by showing reasonable cause.

In this case, Shakib Khan has not produced the movie even though it has been so long and it is not known that he has made any such request for extension of time.

19 films received grants that year. Many of them have been released and the shooting of several movies has been completed. There is a deposit on the sensor board. In the same year, out of 19 films, Shakib's ex-wife actress Apu Biswas also received a grant for a film called 'Lal Saree'.

He also produced and released the movie. But Shakib hasn't started working yet. Don't obey the grant conditions and state regulations.

Meanwhile, last year, the producer Himel said that after the movie 'Rajkumar', the shooting of 'Maya' will start, the name of the movie will be changed. But now the director said that he has withdrawn from the movie. So what is the work of the government-funded movie?

Himmel does not know the answer. He left the issue of Maya to producer Shakib Khan and said, 'I am no longer in this project. Shakib Bhai is the producer of the movie, he got the grant. What to do with this movie is his decision.'
