Jumbangla Desk: The Meteorological Department has informed about the possibility of a low pressure in the southwest Bay of Bengal in the next 48 hours. Apart from this, rain with thunder has been reported in some parts of the country for the next three days.

The Meteorological Office says the Southwest Monsoon has left Bangladesh except Chittagong region. If conditions are favourable, Southwest Monsoon may depart from rest of Bangladesh in next 24 hours. A low pressure is likely to develop over Southwest Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours.
On Sunday (October 13) from 9 am in the next 24 hours, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may experience rain with gusty winds or rain with thunder. Also, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
The weather forecast for Monday (October 14) says that rain with gusty wind or rain with thunder may occur temporarily in two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am. In addition, elsewhere in the country
