He said, if there were no differences between us, we could have become the biggest superpower in the world. Recently Zakir Naik said these things in a conference at the historic Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan. He said, the Holy Quran has taught people how to live in peace. Muslims should forget their differences and remain united.

Zakir Naik is on a long month long visit to Pakistan. He is accompanied by his son Fariq Naik and some members of Team Zakir Naik. This preacher is speaking in important cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad. Dr. Zakir Naik studied various religions. He is famous for his discussions on comparative theology. He has been living in Malaysia since 2016 due to legal complications in his native India. That year there was a terrorist attack in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a case against the Islamic preacher under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (now the Indian Penal Code), alleging that one of the terrorists involved in the attack had been influenced by Zakir Naik's speech on YouTube. India has requested his extradition, but Malaysia has not responded.
