Application for recruitment of Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) post in Bangladesh Police Force is ongoing. GPA 2.5 can be applied for SSC only. 4 thousand 200 people will be appointed from 64 districts.

83 people will be taken in Brahmanbaria district, 71 in Comilla, 18 in Khagrachari, 42 in Feni, 50 in Noakhali, 17 in Rangamati, 76 in Rajshahi, 26 in Jaipurhat, 73 in Sirajganj, 76 in Naogaon, 50 in Natore, 48 in Chapainawabganj in powder 99, Rangpur 84, Dinajpur 87, Gaibandha 69, Kurigram 60, Lalmonirhat 36, Nilphamari 53, Panchagarh 29, Thakurgaon 41, Khulna 68, Jessore 81, Jhenaidhe 52, Magura 27, Narail 21, Bagerhat 43, Satkhira 58, Chuadanga 33, 57 constables will be appointed in Kushtia, 19 in Meherpur, 68 in Barishal, 52 in Bhola, 20 in Jhalkathi, 32 in Pirojpur, 26 in Barguna, 45 in Patuakhali, 100 in Sylhet, 56 in Moulvibazar, 72 in Sunamganj and 61 in Habiganj.
Application Eligibility—
Interested candidates must have passed SSC or equivalent examination. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must be permanent citizens of Bangladesh and unmarried. Divorcees are not eligible. Candidates age should be between 18 to 20 years as on 15 October 2024. In this case the existing quota for children of veer freedom fighters, martyred veer freedom fighters and Virangana will be followed.
Physical Qualification—
Male candidate should be 5 feet 6 inches height for merit quota. Veer Muktijoddha, son of Shaheed Veer Muktijoddha and Veerangana, 5 feet 4 inches in terms of minority ethnic quota. Rules will be followed in respect of physically challenged and third gender quota. Height of female candidates should be 5 feet 4 inches for merit quota. 5 feet 2 inches in case of Veer Mukti Joddha, Shaheed Veer Mukti Joddha and children of Veerangana and minority ethnic groups. Rules will be followed in respect of physically challenged and third gender quota.
In case of merit and minorities quota, chest size is 31 inches in normal condition and 33 inches in enlarged condition. 30 inches in normal condition and 31 inches in extended condition for the quota of children of Veer Muktijodha, Shaheed Veer Muktijoddha and Virangana. Vision 6/6.
