During the anti-discrimination student movement, Salah Uddin and his associates fired on the protestors in different places of Lakshmipur city on August 4. Four students were killed on the spot. Amir Hossain, the father of Sabbir Hossain Russell, who was shot dead in the anti-discrimination student movement, said that Tipu was directly involved in the killing of the students. But he is now making his position known by posting on Facebook.
