The review committee led by Public Administration Reform Commission chief Abdul Mueed Chowdhury has submitted a report recommending that the age of entry into government service be 35 for men and 37 for women.

He gave this information to reporters at the secretariat on Monday (October 14).

Abdul Mueed Chowdhury said about increasing the age of women to 37, women have been given a slightly higher age. We have given it to girls because it is not possible for girls to take the test at the same age as boys. There are family obligations, marriages, children. So they can come.

He said, the number of our women officers is relatively less. There is a quota, but it is not so full yet.
