Bangladesh Air Force published recruitment circular. The force will recruit 92 officer cadets in the BAFA course. Interested candidates can apply online from November 1. Both male and female candidates will get an opportunity to apply for the post of officer cadet.

qualification

GPA-4.50 in both SSC and HSC (Science) examination and minimum letter grade A in Physics and Mathematics for GD (P) stream. Letter Grade B in at least five subjects including Physics, Mathematics at O ​​Level and at least Letter Grade B in Physics and Mathematics at A Level.

GPA-4.50 in both SSC & HSC (Science) and minimum letter grade A in Physics & Mathematics for Logistics/ATC/ADWC/Meteorology stream. Letter Grade B in at least five subjects including Physics, Mathematics at O ​​Level and at least Letter Grade B in Physics and Mathematics at A Level.

Minimum GPA-4.50 in any discipline in both SSC and HSC examination for Admin Branch. Letter Grade B in at least five subjects at O ​​Level and Letter Grade B in two subjects at A Level.

Minimum GPA-4.50 in any stream in both SSC and HSC (Business Education Stream) Examinations for Finance stream. Minimum letter grade A in Accounting in both examinations. Letter Grade B in at least five subjects including Accounting at O ​​Level and Letter Grade B in two subjects including Accounting at A Level.

Age should be between 16 years 6 months to 22 years as on 23 June 2025.

height

Height minimum 64 inches, chest size minimum 32 inches, expansion 2 inches in case of male candidates. For female candidates height 64 inches for GD (P) branch, 62 inches for other branches, chest size minimum 28 inches, expansion 2 inches.

weight

Both candidates weight should be according to age and height.

eyesight

Vision 6/6 for GD (P) Branch candidates and 6/12 for ATC/ADWC Branch candidates and 6/60 for Logistics, Admin, Finance & Meteorology Branch.

Training and commission

After three years of training at the Bangladesh Air Force Academy including 10 weeks at the Bangladesh Military Academy, a regular commission will be given to the rank of Flying Officer. Bachelor degree will be awarded for a total duration of four years including one year after receiving the commission.

facilities

Officer cadets during training will be given monthly salary of Tk 10,500 and attractive salary and allowances as per post after training.

To apply online, visit the Air Force website and click on the 'Apply Now' option. Registration should be done as per the instructions there. 1000 should be sent for registration fee. After getting the user ID and password, login and fill the application form online and print it. Passport size photograph taken recently, educational qualification certificate, attested photocopies of other certificates should be submitted to the Air Force Information and Election Center on the scheduled date of preliminary written test.
