But overall we are in favor of giving the interim government reasonable time for reforms.'

He said, 'If the owl is sitting on the branch, then where is the place for the bird to sit? You have to give an opportunity to remove that patch. The people will be deprived of the benefits of the revolution of the students if the party officials who are the allies of the fallen Awami League and the beneficiaries of the fascist government are not removed.

Jamaat Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, 'Humans are not 100% perfect. Me neither, nor you. Only humans can make mistakes. It exists personally, it exists collectively. We hope that the interim government is doing their best from the point of their ability and sincerity.

He said, '15 and a half years of accumulated garbage, they should be given time to bring it in order. They also have to get up to speed. They are trying to do as they should, but people's expectations are too high. We may also expect a little more. But even an elected government cannot fulfill all the expectations of the people. Even if it is a fair pregnancy. But if it's unfair, there's no point.'

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, 'From this point of view, we have told them about the logical time. He will understand what work to be done, he who will work with him should be given time to understand it. He might be taking that time. But we don't want it to be too late. We want them to do their job in full swing.'

Regarding the overall evaluation of the success or failure of the government, he said, 'Success or failure cannot be said in broad strokes. The time has not yet come to call this interim government a failure.'

On the overall reform question, he said, 'We have definitely advised the government. We hope the government will take them into consideration. Not only Jamaat-e-Islami, but all parties have suggested. BNP has spoken openly. There is no doubt about this, at least those who were collaborators in the dictatorship were partners in the oppression of the people, those who wasted people's wealth, deposits, squandered, made their own wealth their own through corruption. Morally they themselves have lost their right to be in service. Hands must be given in such places. What if you don't give a hand? It is not a big deal who is good at it and who is not good at it. The important thing is that the interests of the country and the nation should be looked at.

Regarding the law and order situation during the two months of the interim government, Jamaat Amir said, 'There has been no major deterioration in the law and order situation. Neither I nor any of you can say that what is now is better than what was before. Just because it wasn't good before doesn't mean it won't be good now. If it remains the same then why the change? We actually hope for the best, we want to see even better from this interim government.'
