Robbery in army and RAB uniform: 6 remanded for seven days

Sub-inspector Helal Uddin of General Registration Branch of Mohammadpur Thana Court confirmed the matter.

The remanded accused are Zakir Hossain alias Jin Zakir, Shariful Islam Tushar, Masudur Rahman, Ariful Islam Tarafdar, Zahid Hasan and Abdus Salam.


Earlier, the investigating officer of the case, Sub-Inspector Rashedul Islam of Cyber ​​and Special Crime (South) Department of DB Police produced the accused in the court and applied for a 10-day remand.


On the other hand, on behalf of the accused, their lawyers applied for bail seeking cancellation of remand. The state party opposes it. After the hearing, the court ordered their remand.

 


Last Friday (October 11) around 3:30 pm, a house was robbed near Mohammadpur three road junction. The robbers looted 7.5 lakh taka and 60 loads of gold ornaments. Abu Bakr, the victim, filed a case in this incident on Saturday. Later they were arrested.
