Jumbangla Desk: This time HSC and some equivalent exams have been held. Exams of some other subjects have been cancelled. The marks of the canceled exams are decided on the basis of the SSC results. The education boards have already prepared the results following this method. On Tuesday (October 15) at 11 am, all the boards will announce the results simultaneously.

Education board sources say that in the case of the canceled exams, the students got hundred percent of the SSC marks in HSC in the subjects whose names are exactly the same in SSC and HSC. If there is no match between subject and department (Science, Humanities and Commerce), then 'Subject Mapping Policy' is followed.

The head of the inter-education board examination control committee and Dhaka education board examination controller Professor Abul Bashar said, we have prepared the results of the canceled examinations by following two methods. First of all, a very simple process, that is, the mark obtained by the student in that subject in SSC, if there is a subject of that name in HSC, then the marks obtained in SSC will be obtained.

'Secondly the process is also not very complicated. This has been done following the subject mapping that was used to produce results during the Corona period. No one will be deprived in this' said the Controller of Examinations.

Subject Mapping If
a candidate belongs to the same category in SSC and HSC then the result is prepared on the basis of SSC. Students and parents are more interested to know how the result will be determined if someone moves to commerce or humanities section in HSC after being in science section in SSC.

When asked about the matter, Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar said, 'It is clearly stated in the subject mapping policy. Suppose - someone passed HSC from science department. He scored 85 in Physics there. This time he moved to humanities department in HSC. He may have urban policy or social welfare instead of physics. or any other matter. He will be given the full marks that he had in SSC in Municipal Policy, this time in Physics.'

'Similarly someone studied higher maths in SSC, took the exam and got 75 in it. But in HSC he moved to commerce department. Then he will be given that mark in Higher Mathematics in Accountancy or Management. In this way, it is in the policy that the candidates who change the category will be considered for which subject instead of which subject. No one will be deprived of it' added Board Chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar.

He also said, 'There is no scope for creating any fog or mystery about it. We have experience of releasing results during Corona. The board has clear policies regarding expert committee, preparation of tabulation sheets and midway cancellation of exams. The board has prepared the result according to the rules. There is no opportunity for anyone to be deprived.'

Breaking the tradition of releasing results
In previous years, the chairman of all the education boards used to present the summary of the results to the Prime Minister at the Ganabhaban. From there, the Prime Minister would announce the results. After that, the Education Minister would present the HSC results in detail to the media from the International Mother Language Institute or the Secretariat. This process had become a ritual. There were many times the result was delayed.

This time, the interim government is changing that trend. The education boards are going to publish the HSC exam results in a completely different manner. Where there is no formality. The Head of Government or the Advisor in charge of the Ministry of Education will not be present at any event to announce the results. The respective board chairmen will announce the results breaking all customs.

Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, said, "The results will not be published in the previous system (rules). The result will be published completely differently. No senior official of the government will hold a function to announce the result. We will not say anything.'

He said, 'The results will be published on the websites of all the boards at exactly 11 am. Students will get results even if they go to educational institutions. And the summary of the results of 11 boards will be given from Dhaka Board. We will not hold any press conference or briefing. We will give only the summary of the results to the journalists.

How to get result online
Result release day i.e. College holiday on Fateha-e-Yazdaham on Tuesday. The ongoing holiday of Durga Puja will remain on this day as well. As a result students will not be present in the college. Considering that, the education board has detailed how the result will be known online.
