For that purpose, he has crossed the borders of the country and is now studying computer science engineering in the third year in Stanford, one of the world's most renowned universities, with a hundred percent scholarship. 'Had a childhood inclination towards American studies, research, technology and lifestyle. Especially during the preparation and participation in Astronomy and Mathematics Olympiad in 8th grade, one can first learn about universities like Stanford, MIT, Harvard. Since then, he became interested in higher education abroad. But because studies in these universities are very expensive, this goal is not progressed. Then in 2020, the college was closed during Corona and online activities started. Orthi said, 'Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming an engineer. My parents always inspired me to be something big. But no one in the family ever stopped me from trying to do something different. After HSC I started preparing for BUET. At the same time, I am preparing to apply to the United States.' Due to Corona, HSC has been postponed and more time has been given to the preparation of Jhaan, Jangaurikh. In addition, Gold Honor in Astronomy Competition, success in various international competitions including Itvadhashajatdamya Auhharat Iyadhashashabhamab organized by NASA. While in school, he got the opportunity to research with professors from universities like Harvard in Bangladesh and the United States. Which was later published in international newspapers. According to him, co-curricular activities are as important a factor in the application process to US universities as academic results.


US universities want to admit students who have made some positive contribution to their society. Arthi had been working since the sixth standard to ensure participation of girl students in rural schools by ensuring allowances, salary waivers, merit scholarships. He believes that financial hardship should never stand in the way of education and fulfillment of dreams. He now helps Bangladeshi students with free study at Stanford, waiver of application fees in the US, and scholarships as needed. Orthi also said, 'Many universities, including Stanford, help foreign students with scholarships as needed. But this process is not need blind. Chances of admission depend on the amount of financial aid.

 


But since I am studying with 100% scholarship. It is difficult but not impossible. Apart from all my study expenses, this scholarship covers laptop, university accommodation, medical expenses, transportation to and from Bangladesh. I even had the opportunity to study in Paris for three months during my sophomore year in Stanford's study abroad program. The entire cost of which is also borne by the university.'
