Calling for fearless observance of religious festivals, the religious advisor also said that some miscreants want to destroy the religious harmony of Bangladesh . They have no religion and their numbers are insignificant. They are lurking in us. Always be vocal against them.
He said, if you are in any way apprehensive, then DC SP will stand by you with striking force. You are not alone, you are citizens of this country. You have every right. You will stand tall. You will celebrate your religious ceremonies.'
Regarding not being able to go on a pilgrimage to Gaya in India due to not getting a visa, the religious advisor said that not giving a visa is a matter of India's policy. However, I will request the High Commissioner of India to at least arrange a special visa for those Buddhists who want to go on pilgrimage to India.
