Jumbangla Desk: Locals have arrested a young expatriate named Saddam Hossain (30) and handed him over to the police on charges of molesting his girlfriend in Dhunat Upazila of Bogra. In this incident on Monday (October 14), the victim, the woman, filed a case against Saddam at the Dhunat police station. Singapore resident Saddam Hossain is the son of Abdul Mannan Badshah of Velabari village of Sariakandi upazila.

According to the source of the case, the victim woman is the owner of a ladies tailors in the local Sonahata Bazar area. He worked there making clothes. About a month ago, Saddam Hussain came home from Velabari village on leave from Singapore. Saddam developed a love affair with the woman who owned the tailors when she came to make clothes for the family.

As planned, Saddam Hussein came to Taylors to meet his girlfriend around 10 o'clock on Sunday morning. At one point in the conversation, her lover Saddam about the incident of molestation. At that time, the local people reached the tailors and arrested Saddam and handed him over to the police at night.

Saidul Alam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dhunot Police Station, said that after receiving the news of the deterioration of law and order in the area, the couple was rescued from the crowd and brought to the custody of the police station. Saddam Hussain was sent to prison after showing the arrest of the lover's case in this incident.
