On Tuesday, the investigating officer of Abdur Razzaq's case, Police Inspector Jahangir Arif of Ramna Zonal Team of DB Police applied for remand. Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubul Haque's court will hear the remand in his presence.

On the other hand, Sub-Inspector (SI) Nazmul Hachan of Paltan Police Station, the investigating officer of Farooq Khan's case, applied for his 10-day remand. The matter will be heard in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Chanaulla of Dhaka.

Earlier on Monday evening, Abdur Razzak was arrested from Iskaton area of ​​the capital by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police. Another top leader Farooq Khan was arrested late at night from the cantonment area of ​​the capital.

Farooq Khan has been arrested in a case filed in connection with the killing of a BNP worker named Maqbool in a police raid at the BNP office two years ago.
