International Desk: Israel will attack Iran's military facilities. However, the country's nuclear or oil facilities will not be hit. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the United States. The Washington Post reported this information citing two related officials. News from the Times of Israel.

US President Joe Biden and Netanyahu had a phone conversation last week. The main topic of their discussion was to determine how Israel would respond to Iran's October 1 ballistic missile attack on Israel. However, neither Tel Aviv nor Washington said anything at the end of the phone conversation.

An official told The Washington Post that Israel's prime minister agreed that the attack on Iran would be planned in a way that would not affect the upcoming US election. Because attacks on oil installations can increase oil prices. As a result, Americans will have to spend more money to buy oil. This could upset US voters and damage Vice President Kamala Harris' electoral field.

According to the official, the retaliatory strike would come before the Nov. 5 elections to avoid the impression that Israel is weak.

On October 1, Iran fired more than 180 missiles at Israel. Now Tel Aviv is preparing a counter attack against Iran. While favoring a retaliatory strike on Iran, US officials say the US is secretly urging Israel to coordinate its response, so as not to trigger a wider war in the Middle East. Biden has publicly opposed Israel's attack on Iran's nuclear facilities and expressed concern about attacks on Iran's energy infrastructure.
