Joint forces have arrested a terrorist named Khwaja Khair Uddin along with weapons in Comilla's Burichong. An army-led operation was conducted in upazila Nimsar village on the basis of secret information in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Khwaja Khair Uddin (48) was arrested with 1 pistol (domestic revolver) and 2 pistols. Later, the terrorist was handed over to Burichong Police Station along with the recovered weapons.

Burichong police station OC Azizul Haque said that an operation was conducted jointly by the army and the police. Khwaja Khair Uddin was arrested along with weapons. He was sent to jail by the court in the afternoon. The operation of the joint forces against arms, drugs and terrorism will continue.
