Sugar and sugary foods in particular make it easier for bacteria to work. The bacteria make acid by using the food accumulated in the teeth. That acid actually erodes the enamel. Cavities or enamel erosion can be easily avoided. For this, some simple rules must be followed.

Brush your teeth regularly
with fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day. Brushing especially after meals reduces the growth of bacteria.

Use Dental Floss
Brushing alone does not clean all areas of the teeth. Therefore, flossing can remove food particles and plaque from between teeth.

Eat less sugar and sweets
Consuming sugar and sweets causes bacteria to produce acid more quickly. As a result, it causes more tooth decay. Reduce sugar or sweet foods from the diet.

Use of Fluoride
Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel and reduces the risk of cavities. So pay special attention to using fluoridated toothpaste , mouthwash and dental floss.
