Science and Technology Desk: He bought a famous brand of smartphone as a hobby. Photographing, YouTube and sometimes social media to hit 'Dhu'. But after a few days of purchase, if you see that the usage speed of the mobile phone is decreasing. Not only that, apart from taking a long time to launch the app, the phone's functionality is also stopping at times.

App

Hand on the head. Many people have this problem. But why is this problem? Because, many of the apps that we have installed on our mobile phones for hobby or for work continue to run automatically even when we are not using them. As a result, the speed of our mobile phone decreases. Below are the apps that are running automatically on the phone.

Apps installed on mobile phones
Manufacturers install several apps on newly purchased mobile phones. Pre-installed apps are called bloatware. Even if we don't use the apps, they start consuming extra memory as they are running on the phone. Deleting apps that are not connected to the phone's system will reduce the pressure on the memory. As a result, the speed of the mobile phone will increase.

Popular messaging app Snapchat is at the top of the list of apps that slow down mobile phone speeds . The app is always on and collecting your location information even when you're not using it. As a result, apart from using more memory, the app also reduces the battery capacity of the mobile phone. For this reason, it is better not to use Snapchat's live location feature. To turn off live location, go to Snapchat's Settings option and select Ghost Mode under See My Location from the Who Can tab.

Facebook
Almost all of us use Facebook on mobile phones. But social media apps slow down our mobiles. The app continues to collect all your information even when it is not running. Apart from the memory usage, the app also reduces the battery charge quickly as it is running on the mobile phone.

Messenger and Instagram
Like Facebook, Messenger and Instagram are always on. That is, even if you are not logged in, they secretly run on the phone and collect your information regularly.

YouTube and Netflix
Many people use YouTube and Netflix on their mobile phones. Video streaming apps consume the most of the phone's battery. Not only that, even if it is not turned on, it secretly collects various information of users all the time. Because, the apps basically recommend watching videos by reviewing the location and interests of the users. Apart from this, high speed internet is required while watching videos online, so the memory is used more, as a result the speed of the mobile phone decreases.

Maps App
Many of us use Apple Maps and Google Maps to know the route address or traffic jam information. Apps are constantly detecting our location. Because, the main function of the apps is to tell the address of the desired destination by knowing your location. As a result, mobile phone memory and battery consumption is high.

Clean Master
Many people use various apps including Clean Master to delete unnecessary files on the phone. Even if you say to delete the data, the Clean Master app continues to secretly collect and smuggle data from your phone. Not only that, the malware spreads and slows down the phone. And so it is better not to use the app to delete unnecessary files.

The solution is to
uninstall the unnecessary apps on the phone. Unless uninstalled or you don't want to, you must stop apps running in the background of the phone. For this, first click on Connections from mobile phone settings and go to Mobile data usage option. Now select the app and turn off the toggle next to Allow background data usage below. Clearing the cache files regularly can also speed up the phone. For this, select the Apps & notifications option from the mobile phone settings and click on all apps. Now select unnecessary or suspicious apps and click on Clear cache from Storage & cache option.
