Exiled Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasrin's residence permit in India has expired after almost three months. His stay in India expired on July 22. Concerned, Taslima contacted the Ministry of Home Affairs over the phone and mail. But no reply came.

In his words, "I have been in this country for twenty years, this has never happened. Every time the permit expires, it is renewed. But this time, I don't understand what is happening, why is it happening." The writer says that he has a job in America but it has to be postponed again and again. Due to the lack of papers, you can no longer enter India.

His statement, 'I have nowhere else to go with this health at this age. Driven out of his country. I was in Kolkata because I love to live in Bengal. He had to come to Delhi from there. Where will I go this time?'
