Mufti Zakaria Haroon: Road accidents have taken a terrible shape. Many people are injured. So caution is always required to save life. If you follow the instructions of Islam, your journey will be safe . People will breathe a sigh of relief. Our life will become easier - Inshallah.
Dua is also a separate act of worship. Prayer is the root of worship. Worship is incomplete without prayer. Any prayer can be recited at any time. Rasool (pbuh) taught us to pray in every aspect of life. He taught me to pray for even the smallest things.
Hazrat Zubair Ibn Mutaim (RA) said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said to me, O Zubair! Do you like that when you travel, your status is better than all your companions and your path is the highest?
I said, yes. May my parents be sacrificed on you! Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, You will recite these five Surahs:
Say, “O disbelievers! When there comes the help of Allah and victory – Say, “He is Allah, the One” – Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak” – Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.” সুরা ফালাক ৫. সুরা নাস।
Bismillahir Rahmani Rahim will be recited at the beginning of each surah. Finally read Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Thus there will be five Surahs and six times Bismillah.
Hazrat Zubair (R.A.) said, Although I was rich, when I used to travel, my condition was extremely poor and my path was very short. But when Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam taught me these Surahs, I started reciting them, and from then until I returned home, my condition was extremely good. My path became more and more extreme.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ (Pronounced: Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, Subhanallaji Sakhkhara Lana Haja Wama Kunna Lahu Muqrinin Wa Inna Ila Rabbina Lamunkalibun.)
Meaning: Glory to God Almighty who subjected it (the vehicle) to us, while we were not able to subject it. We are returning to our Lord.
Raise awareness
Be aware to avoid road accidents. Accidents can be prevented only if drivers, passengers, pedestrians and road safety officials are alert and aware of their responsibilities. Indifference of drivers, disobeying traffic laws, speeding, overtaking; On the other hand, major accidents occur due to pedestrians talking on mobile phones, crossing the road, carrying extra passengers in vehicles, etc.
Islam has always emphasized responsibility. In the hadith, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "Every person is responsible, so everyone must be asked about his responsibility." (Bukhari: 2558).
In another hadith narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) - Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, Be aware! You will not occupy the streets by sitting on the streets. If you have to sit alone, then you will claim the right of way. (Bukhari: 2297)
