South Africa team reached Dhaka to play Test

The South African national team arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday (October 16) to play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The Proteas landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport shortly before 9 am.

Cricket South Africa is dominating spinners in the squad for the upcoming series. Along with spinner Keshav Maharaj, there are two other spinners Senuran Muttuswamy and Dan Pead in the squad. Their pace attack is also quite rich.

Experienced Kagiso Rabada is joined by Lungi Ngidi, Dan Patterson and all-rounder Wian Mulder. Matthew Britz is a new face in the Proteas team in this series. Although he played 8 T20s for the Proteas, he never got a chance to play in white.

The first Test of the series will start from October 21 at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. And from October 29, the second and last Test of the series will begin at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
