Peel the pineapple and grate it with a grater or cut it into small pieces. Cover the grated pineapple with little salt and a little water in a pan and cook on low flame for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not over water. The juice will come out from the pineapple. Now when the pineapple is cooked, cook it with chili flakes and sugar for 5 minutes.

Pineapple Chutney


Materials
Pineapple 1 tsp
mustard oil 2 3 tbsp
turmeric powder ½ tsp
chilli powder ½ tsp
panchphoron 1 tsp
grated ginger 2 tsp
chilli flakes ½ tsp
salt to taste
Sugar 100 gms

Now heat mustard oil in a pan, add ginger, turmeric and chilli for 5 minutes, add pineapple mixture and cook on high heat. Omit sugar if pineapple is sweet. When the chutney reaches desired thickness, reduce it. Serve on the last page or enjoy the delicious sweet and sour pineapple chutney right away.
