Joy called the student agitators 'Razakar' this time

He made such a comment in a post given on his verified page on the social media Facebook on Wednesday (October 16).

In that post, Sajeeb Wazed Joy wrote, 'We have seen online how Jamaat-Shibir controlled the students' movement, even they themselves admitted.'

 

You have seen their actions to erase the memorial of Bangabandhu, Joy wrote, 'Now they are openly denying Bangabandhu's contribution to our liberation struggle, our liberation war. They are introducing themselves again to the nation as Razakars.


The Cabinet Department issued an order canceling eight national days on Wednesday. This order was issued in view of the decision of the Advisory Council of the Interim Government to celebrate/not observe these days.

Out of the eight canceled days, five are centered on former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's family.

The days were - 7th March, 17th March Father of the Nation's Birthday and National Children's Day, 5th August Birth Anniversary of Martyr Captain Sheikh Kamal, 8th August Birth Anniversary of Bangmata Begum Fazilatun Nesha Mujib, 15th August National Mourning Day, 18th October Sheikh Russell Day, 4th November National Constitution Day and December 12 Smart Bangladesh Day.

Regarding National Day of Mourning on 15th August, the decision to celebrate/not observe the day has been taken subject to the final order of the High Court.
