Office orders have been sent today to the Principal Secretary of the Chief Adviser, the Secretary/Senior Secretary of all Ministries and Departments, the Chief Information Officer, the Divisional Commissioner, the District Commissioner (DC), the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) to implement this decision properly.
The decision to celebrate/not observe these days was taken in the Advisory Council of the Interim Government.
The days are historical March 7, March 17 is the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children's Day, August 5 is the birth anniversary of Sheikh Hasina's brother Shaheed Captain Sheikh Kamal, August 8 is the birth anniversary of Sheikh Hasina's mother Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib, August 15 is the death anniversary of Bangabandhu and the National Mourning Day. , Sheikh Hasina's younger brother Sheikh Russell Day on October 18, National Constitution Day on November 4 and Smart Bangladesh Day on December 12.
