According to NASA, the eclipse will reach the United States on Thursday (October 17) at 7:26 a.m. US time. The agency said the moon will remain for three days from Tuesday evening to Friday morning.
This year's October full moon is also referred to as a supermoon, which occurs when a moon is at or near its closest point in its orbit, causing the moon to appear dramatically brighter and larger than usual.
The Hunter Moon will be the third of four supermoons in a row, making it the biggest and brightest supermoon of the year, according to NASA and Thomas.
Before this, the second lunar eclipse took place on September 18. However, this partial lunar eclipse could not be seen from Bangladesh.
Although the eclipse is not visible from Bangladesh, it is partially visible from Antarctica, Western Indian Ocean, Africa, Europe, Atlantic Ocean and Polynesia region.
Incidentally, a lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon. At that time the earth's shadow falls on the moon.
