Hriday's house is in Rajivpur area of Lakshmipur municipality. His mother Fatema was sitting speechless in front of the house. At one point, he regained his senses. Tears started rolling down his cheeks. At this time, the relatives tried to comfort him by saying various things. After that, he started crying about his son.
A gas cylinder of a bus exploded while refilling gas at the Green Life filling station on the Dhaka-Laxmipur regional highway on Sunday at around two o'clock in the night. At this time, 3 people were killed on the spot, 20 others were injured.
The other two killed. Sumon and Yusuf Hossain are two battery operated autorickshaw drivers. Yusuf Hossain's wife Nasima Begum filed a case at Lakshmipur Sadar Police Station as the plaintiff in this incident. Basmalik Saiful Islam along with two accused.
Fatema Begum said, 'The hand is broken. It takes 200 drops of medicine every day. Gives heart medicine. Who will buy the medicine on hei?'
He said that his hand was broken a few days ago. Medicines were needed, Hridiya would buy them all. He was supposed to come home with the medicine on Monday afternoon as well. But the son came home as a dead body.
Fatema said, due to lack of family, Hridyo joined work at a young age. He worked as a mechanic of various vehicles including buses, trucks. Hridoy was working in a garage next to the filling station where the bus cylinder exploded.
Local residents said, Hriday's father. Siraj works as a rickshaw-autorickshaw mechanic. As the son was able to earn, the pressure on him to bear the household expenses was reduced. All family members, including father Siraj, are distraught over the death of their son. Hriday's brother Omar Farooq demanded justice for those responsible for this accident.
The district administration has formed a five-member committee headed by Additional District Magistrate Priyanka Dutta to investigate the blast incident. The committee has been asked to submit the inquiry report within five working days.
OC of Lakshmipur Sadar Model Police Station. Abdul Monnaf said, preliminary investigation revealed that the gas cylinder of that bus was of low quality and expired. The accident happened due to the negligence of the landlord. Efforts are underway to arrest him.
Sumon Hossain (23), who was injured in the blast at Laxmipur Sadar Hospital on Monday, said he is also a bus driver. His bus was right after the bus that exploded. He got off the bus and was standing next to him . Suddenly he fell to the ground with a loud noise. He does not remember anything after that. After being brought to the hospital, it can be seen that there are injuries in different parts of the body.

Laxmipur Sadar Resident Medical Officer Arup Pal said, 15 injured people have been treated at the hospital. Some of them are amputated. After first treatment they were asked to be taken to Dhaka.
