Jumbangla Desk: The International Criminal Tribunal has ordered the issuance of arrest warrants against 45 people, including Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader, who are absconding in a case of genocide and crimes against humanity.

They have been arrested and asked to appear before the court by November 18.

Thursday (October 17) Chairman Justice Md. The three-member International Crimes Tribunal headed by Golam Mortuza Majumdar gave the order. The other two members are Justice Md. Shafiul Alam Mahmud and Judge Md. Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.

Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam represented the state in the court.

Earlier, the tribunal issued an arrest warrant against Awami League president Sheikh Hasina in another case.
