In this regard, BPICC joint convener Mosiur Rahman said, we are committed to sell eggs at the price set by the government. The Directorate of Agriculture Marketing, Directorate of Livestock and Poultry stakeholders have jointly decided the price of eggs at producer, wholesale and retail level along with rational production cost of eggs. Poultry farms in one-fourth of the country's districts have been damaged due to the recent landslides and heavy rains, resulting in a reduction in the daily production of about 60-70 lakh eggs, resulting in an imbalance between supply and demand.

The egg suppliers in this program are - Kazi Farms, Diamond Eggs Limited, Paragon Poultry, People's Poultry and Hatchery, Narish Poultry, VIP Shahadat Poultry, North Egg Limited, Nabil Agro, RRP, Rana Poultry, Chand Agro, Krishibid Poultry, Chitra Agro, Aman Poultry and Mega Poultry.
