Own Correspondent, Gazipur: National Sanitation Month and 20th Hand Washing Day were celebrated in Kaliganj, Gazipur under the theme "Clean hand washing is always important for health protection". On this occasion, a colorful rally and discussion meeting was held on Thursday (October 17) organized by Kaliganj Municipality in collaboration with LGD City Management and Infrastructure Development Project .

Observance of National Sanitation Month and World Hand Washing Day in Kaliganj

In the morning around the day, a colorful rally took place from Upazila Parishad Chattar to the important road of Kaliganj. Later, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila Parishad meeting room under the chairmanship of Kaliganj Municipal Administrator and UNO SM Imam Razi Tulu.

Upazila Engineer (LGD) Belal Hossain Sarkar, Social Service Officer Shahadat Hossain, Youth Development Officer Zahir Uddin, Kaliganj Municipal Administrative Officer Masuduzzaman, Accountant Dulal Moral, Immunization Supervisor Mir Mosharraf Hossain and others spoke.

At that time, heads of various offices of the upazila, municipal officials and employees, teachers and students of various educational institutions, media workers and people from various professions were present.
