Secretary General of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Maulana Muhammad Mamunul Haque said, we do not want to see a new fascist government after sending away a fascism. The murderer Hasina should be brought to the country from abroad and justice should be arranged. Bangabandhu did not make the country independent by the liberation war of 1971, the liberation war of Bangladesh is not the sole property of any party. The leadership of freedom is not a sole monopoly of any person, the father of the nation cannot be a controversial person. Sheikh Hasina has destroyed Bangladesh by ruling the country in a dictatorial manner for the past 15 years and has now fled to a popular uprising.

He said these things while addressing a mass gathering organized by Bhairab Upazila branch of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis at Bhairab Haji Asmat College grounds on Thursday afternoon.

Mamunul Haque said in his speech that all the accused, including Sheikh Hasina, accused of killing thousands of students in the uprising should be punished severely. An arrest warrant has been issued against Hasina in the international tribunal. The current interim government should quickly bring him to the country to stand trial.

He said, Hasina's family members, ministers, MPs and party leaders of her government looted the country's money and smuggled it abroad, making it a begumpara. Laundered money should be brought back to the country. August movement of Bangladesh cannot be foiled, the defeated forces are still in conspiracy. So countrymen should be careful. If the blood of thousands of students, including Abu Saeed Mochad, goes in vain, the people of the country will fall under the grip of fascism again. To those who made the mass movement successful, I will tell you to stay united.
