Jumbangla Desk: Mizanur Rahman (19), an injured student in a collision between a battery operated auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle in Joypurhat Sadar Upazila, could not be saved. Five days after the accident, he died in the early hours of Thursday (October 17) while undergoing treatment.

Shajahanpur Fuldighi of Mizanur Bogra is the son of deceased Ayub Ali of Madhyapara area. He got GPA-5 in HSC in science department from Joypurhat Government College.
According to the police and relatives of the deceased student, Mizanur Rahman was going to Mangalbari market after dropping his mother on a motorcycle in Joypurhat city on October 12. On the way, his motorcycle collided with a battery-powered auto at Shimultali area around 11:30 am. He fell down and was seriously injured.
Later local people rescued him and admitted him to Joypurhat General Hospital. When the condition worsened there, he was taken to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (SHJMEC) Hospital. He died on Thursday night while undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) there .
Bijay Hasan, friend of the deceased, said, 'Mizanur was our good friend. He used to volunteer in various service activities. This time he got GPA-5 in HSC. He has no brothers or sisters. His father also died long ago. We cannot accept his death like this.'
