Jumbangla Desk: RAB-8 has arrested Shamsul Sardar alias Kopa Shamsu, accused in 12 cases in Madaripur.

RAB-8's Madaripur camp informed this information in a circular around 10 o'clock on Thursday night.
Earlier, Kopa Shamsu was arrested from Bara Meher area of Mustafapur Union of Sadar Upazila of Madaripur around 5:30 pm.
According to the Madaripur camp of RAB-8, on August 27 evening, Shamsu and his men left explosives handbombs (cocktails) in plastic bags in the tin house of Monachher Fakir, son of deceased Hasem Fakir, in Bara Meher area of Mustafapur Union of Sadar Upazila. Later on August 30 around 8:30 pm, that hand grenade exploded in the house of Fakir in Monachh.
A case was filed against Kopa Shamsu at Madaripur Sadar Police Station. Also, there are 12 cases against him in various police stations including drug, women and child abuse, robbery cases.
Madaripur Camp Commander of RAB-8 Mir Monir Hossain said that the arrested person is the son of Khorshed Sardar of Mustafapur Union of Madaripur Sadar Upazila. Locals know him as Kopa Shamsu. He is 52 years old. He has been cheating people for a long time. Locals filed various complaints against him but he was not arrested, later a smart team of RAB arrested him.
