Jumbangla Desk: 80 additional DIG officers of Bangladesh Police have been posted.

The appointment was made in two separate notifications signed by Abu Saeed, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Thursday by order of the President.

In one notification 48 persons and in another notification 32 persons have been informed about the posting.

Of these officers who have been posted, 52 have been promoted to the post of Supernumerary Additional DIG. He was serving as Superintendent of Police (SP). After the transfer, they will now hold the additional DIG rank.
