Jumbangla Desk: Repayment facility has been introduced for new pensioners in Sarjan Pension Scheme. However, this benefit is applicable only if the pensioner joins the government service or the pensioner dies.

The National Pension Authority said that if a pensioner joins government service, he can apply online to get back the amount deposited in the public pension. On the other hand, if the pensioner dies, his nominee can encash the pension by applying online.

How to apply
First of all you have to login to Universal Pension website. Then click on the 'Refund (Death/Government Jobs)' button on the left side of the dashboard. Then the reason for monetization will be asked. One has to select one of the two options from the dropdown menu—'Joining Government Jobs' or 'Death'.

Then click on the green 'Start Application' button on the right side.

Through this process the pensioner or his nominee can easily apply for refund of deposited amount.
