Jumbangla Desk: Allama Mufti Abdul Malek (Hafi), a prominent Islamic law expert and Hadith expert, has been appointed to the post of khatib of the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram.

It is informed that Mufti Abdul Malek is a renowned Islamic scholar who has obtained higher degrees in Islamic Studies, Hadith and Fiqh Islami in renowned educational institutions at home and abroad. World renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Justice Taqi Osmani (Hafi) is his teacher. He conducted advanced research on Hadith and Islamic law for two years under Sheikh Abdul Fattah Abu Guddah (RA), one of the best Islamic scholars in the Arab world and Professor of Usuluddin Faculty of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It further states that he has visited Makkah, Madinah, Pakistan, India and Türkiye and presented papers in various national and international seminars. He has already written a total of 16 books in Bengali, Arabic, English and Urdu languages. In addition, a research journal called Monthly Al Kawsar is published regularly under his supervision.
