Jumbangla Desk: A Sapur boy named Shakeel (18) died after being bitten by a poisonous snake while catching snakes on the banks of Shakha Yamuna river in Dinajpur's Birampur. Yesterday Thursday (October 17) at around 10 o'clock in the night, the young man died suddenly in his home in Para area. Earlier on the same day at around 5:50 in the afternoon, a snake bit the small Yamuna river in Paur city.
Deceased Shakeel (18) is the son of Alam Hossain Sapuria of the neighborhood of Sudan Para in Paur city. Father Alam Hossain confirmed the death of his son due to snake bite.
It has been found that over the years, Shakeel helped his father catch snakes and watch the game of snakes in different places.
Yesterday Thursday afternoon, Shakeel went alone to catch snakes along the small branch Yamuna river. At this time, Shakeel was bitten by a poisonous snake.
Later, the locals rescued him with serious injuries and took him to Birampur Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty gave first aid and transferred him to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. When his condition deteriorated there, he died at his home around 10 pm.

The victim's father, Alam Hossain Sapude, said, 'He was taken to the hospital and given first aid. Later he was treated at Dinajpur Medical College Hospital but his condition worsened. He died at home at night.'
