That is, they have separate workers in India and Bangladesh. They are accused in several drug cases. All the members of the law and order force are afraid of Wasim, the drug mafia of Ganganagar in the upazila. With arrest warrants for 25 cases, he is openly controlling various drug hotspots in the border area. Recently, after the fall of the Awami League government, his drug business has become more prosperous. Locals said that after August 5, he became more reckless after taking shelter of a political party. Under him more than 150 workers carry drugs.

They have a huge cadre force under their control. Even if there is a warrant, the police do not arrest them. They earn crores of rupees daily by dealing drugs and pour the money in various places. Moreover, if they see police trouble in the area, they move across the border within minutes. They also have a home there.

Mallika Dighir Amin Hossain said that the police, BGB sometimes conduct raids and arrest their workers. But not even close to the original 7 people. He said, every day more than half a hundred covered vans and pickups of the courier service travel in our area. The police do not know why these vehicles are coming here? He said that after August 5, the amount of money these drug dealers have earned, they will not have to do anything else in their lives.
