Chief guest Dr. Rezaul Karim said, Awami League has killed so many students to stay in power, which has never happened in the history of the world. What crime did the children have? They killed hundreds of children. The ninety-year-old man did not come to the street, but killed the old men in their houses. Awami League has shown the worst, brutality and evil in the history of the world. But after the Awami League left power, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, the most oppressed party during their regime, did not take any revenge. Because Jamaat will not take revenge like this. We will take revenge by establishing the religion of Allah in this land. We want to establish the religion of Allah with our lives and ensure the release of the hereafter.
According to Jamaat sources, Jamaat-e-Islam could not hold any open meeting in Lakshmipur due to disappearances, killings and torture of Awami League for the past 17 years.
At this time, the work of the organization had to be carried forward secretly. After the Awami League government was ousted in the popular uprising of the students, a stable and secure environment is now prevailing in the country. In this, after 17 years, Lakshmipur Municipal Jamaat's public meeting has been organized.
