Major General Salami made this comment while speaking at the funeral of IRGC advisor Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan who was killed in Lebanon on Thursday.

He said, 'Israel mistakenly thought that by killing Haniya, Nasrullah and Nilforoushan, it would cause problems for Iran and its allies. But Operation True Promise Two and the penetration of Iranian missiles through Israel's Iron Dome changed their equation'.

The IRGC chief said, 'Enemies should be aware that any attack on Iran will be met with a decisive response. Operation True Promise Two was not entirely our defensive supreme force. It was just a warning.'

He said, 'Israel will be answered for committing crimes against Muslim countries. We clearly declare that we know the enemy's weaknesses and we are able to expose his weaknesses.'

The head of the IRGC rejected the idea that Israel would be relieved by the deaths of top allied leaders and commanders.

Thousands of people paid their respects at a ceremony after Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan's funeral in the central Iranian city of Isfahan on Thursday. Thousands of people participated in the procession wearing black clothes.

Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan was killed along with Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrullah in an Israeli airstrike on September 27. Immediately after the September 17 Pager attack on Hezbollah, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei sent a message with an emissary requesting the Hezbollah chief to leave for Iran.

Khamenei's messenger in Lebanon was Abbas Nilforoushan. He was also in the bunker with Nasrallah when the Israeli bomb hit and was killed.
