Chhatra League leader Abdul Qadir Talukder has been arrested from Sylhet in the case of Sunamganj roof vandalism. He was sent to Sunamganj jail on Friday morning. He is the son of former vice-president of Chatak Degree College Chhatra League and late Abdul Malik of Muktir Gaon village of Kalaruka Union.

Sylhet airport police arrested him from Sylhet Osmani International Airport on Thursday afternoon. Later he was handed over to Chatak police station.
According to local sources, he was arrested by the police on the way to go abroad.
Chatak police station officer-in-charge Golam Mostafa Munna confirmed the truth of the incident and said that Chhatra League leader Abdul Qadir Talukdar was arrested in a case filed at Sunamganj Sadar police station. He was sent to Sunamganj court on Friday morning.
