Tawhid Hriday has got a team for the first time in the Abu Dhabi T-Ten League. This middle order batsman will play for Bengal Tigers under the leadership of Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.

Bengal Tigers picked Hridoy from the 18th round of the players' draft on Thursday. Earlier in franchise leagues outside the country except BPL; Hriday played for Jaffna Kings in 2023 and Dambulla Sixers in 2024.

Bangla Tigers are getting national team star Shakib Al Hasan as a teammate. The team also includes stars like Liam Livingstone, Rashid Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Dinesh Karthik. Josh Little, Dasun Shanaka and Hazratullah Zazai who played in the previous edition are also present in this edition.

With the bat, however, Hriday is one of Bangladesh's most trusted names in recent times. In the last T20 match against India, Hriday also saw fifty. He won the hearts of the fans by sending the ball outside the boundary with huge sixes. Bangla Tigers has pulled that heart into the team.

It should be noted that the Abu Dhabi T-10 League will start from November 21 with 10 teams.
